Awakn Life Sciences

Awakn is a leading Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy clinic for mental health and addiction treatments. As Europe's only clinic of this type it offers a revolutionary treatment method combining talking therapy with sessions assisted by psychedelics. The unique approach in treatment of disorders involves a careful assessment of the client's condition, after which the experienced clinicians deliver a course of bespoke therapy/  several sessions which include doses of medical grade ketamine, administered in a safe therapeutic setting. The method allows clients to work through issues in ways that have not been possible with therapy alone.

Bearing in mind the sensitive nature of the project, our aim was to deliver a sound and minimal visual identity that communicates a reliable and professional environment of the clinic. The overall design is marked by a direct, honest and calm aesthetic that rests on a combination of subdued visuals, a lightweight typeface and soft, sunset tones. Illustrations are subtle and few, thematically inspired by the concepts of well-being and mindfulness. We wanted to convey the sense of Awakn clinic being a nest where people can feel safe, heard and understood in their struggles. In terms of the physical space, the priority was to create a simple, friendly and reassuring ambiance, with a combination of natural materials and soft lighting that grants a restful and comfortable atmosphere both to clients and personnel.
